General Features
AVR SX460 for Stamford generator voltage regulator is a half-wave phase controlled thyristor type Automatic Voltage
Regulator and forms part of the excitation system for a brushless generator. In addition to regulating the generator voltage, the AVR circuitry
includes under speed and sensing loss protection to ensure safe,
reliable control of the generator.
Positive voltage build up from residual levels is ensured by the
use of proficient semiconductors in the power circuitry of the AVR.
Which is linked with the main stator windings and the exciter field
windings to offer closed loop control of the output voltage with
load regulations of +/- 1.5%

1. What' s mean by the model with -A, what's the difference?
The model with -A is the same function with the original model, the
difference is the -A model use the imported supper capacitor . Such
as SX460-A has the same function with SX460, but SX460-A use the
imported capacitor( the Red color one) and the SX460 use the
domestic capacitor ( the Blue color one). They can replace each
other when application. The cost of the -A model is higher than the
original one.
